Your Journey as an Angel Care Hospice Volunteer
- Application & Connection: Begin your journey by completing our online application. Once received, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our Volunteer Coordinator for an initial phone intake, where we learn more about your hopes, talents, and commitment to service.
- Training with Purpose: After your acceptance, you’ll participate in comprehensive training sessions designed to reflect our core values. We’ll introduce you to the philosophy of hospice care, strengthen your communication skills, and guide you on providing emotional and spiritual support. Our goal is to ensure you feel empowered, prepared, and connected to our mission.
- Choosing Your Path of Service: Angel Care Hospice volunteers embody our values through a variety of roles:
- Companionship: Bringing comfort, presence, and warmth to patients by offering your time, listening ear, and a caring heart—whether sharing stories, reading aloud, or simply being there.
- Respite Care: Providing family caregivers with relief and peace of mind, supporting them as they care for their loved ones.
- Administrative Support: Lending a hand behind the scenes, ensuring the smooth operation of our programs and events so that every patient benefits from seamless care.
