818-630-5759
Independent, Veteran-owned, Hospice and Palliative service providing compassionate care across Southern California

Hospice represents an innovative approach to care, founded on the principle of individual choice. It empowers a patient with a life-limiting illness to remain in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by family, friends, and a dedicated team of specially trained professionals and volunteers. These compassionate experts collaborate closely with the patient’s doctor to develop a personalized plan of care. This plan emphasizes the dignity of choice and harnesses the power of love, ensuring that the patient’s preferences and comfort are paramount throughout their end-of-life journey.

My Mom was declining rapidly. Eating less, in bed more, all the signs were there. I called Angel Care and within the hour, we were comforted and on the path to great care. The level of compassion and warmth we received from the staff was beyond our own expectations. Thank you Angel Care!

Angel Care took care of my sweet mama for over 2 years with the most loving care and genuine dedication to her wellbeing. In fact, they were SO amazing that when Angel Care came into our lives, my mama had severe COPD, requiring 4 breathing treatments a day plus Advair and a humidifier on 24/7. Miraculously her COPD disappeared, and she no longer has breathing issues and no longer on any breathing treatments! Every Angel Care "angel" consistently communicated with updates, always with positive, joyful energy and giving my heart peace. They were phenomenal in working with the Memory Care staff and best of all, they loved my mama as if she was family. Thank you for ALL you have done for my mama and me!!

Angel Care was a beautiful and unexpected gift from God. We had never used hospice before and we were not sure what to expect. They were amazing. I was able to call at different times with so many questions. They never tired of me and were always very sensitive to my needs. My brother passed 10-9-2025 and we knew we wanted him in his home surrounded by family. It would have been close to impossible without the emotional support and the resources provided by Angel Care. The hospital supplies to keep my brother comfortable with his needs were so important. But what I will remember most are the faces and the hearts- especially towards the final days. I tear up just thinking about the care my brother received and the support my family felt. Thank you to Rodney, Rosalie, Lucy, Pauline, Myrna, Clifford and Clarito. You were all amazing. It really is a calling and you were the angels that came before the angels. All our gratitude for your care and service to the dying. Yolanda on behalf of Joseph Montes

It has taken me a couple of months to get the emotional stability to write this review. My father had spent the last year and a half of his life in a memory care facility. The facility its self had its issues which were easily fixed by putting my father on hospice. They recommended AngelCare. My sanity was kept with the help of the staff from AngelCare. Lucy was my dads RN and she is the one person that stayed a constant as there was some turn over during our enrollment. If I didn't have Lucy I can't even imagine how bad this past year would have been for me and my father. My father ended up looking "pretty good" for a while and his numbers/vitals didn't have much change I thought he was going to get released from Hospice and I began to panic. The day I got proactive and looked into alternatives to help with medication he declined drastically. Lucy was there by his side that night and ordered 24hr care. I was thinking this was a fluke and turned out it was the end. I had my fathers body and soul with me for 3 more days till he went peacefully in his sleep at 4:20am not alone as the 24hr nurse was with him. I don't know how family members go through this transition alone. I don't think I would be "ok" if I had to do the whole end of life with my father on my own. Thank you to AngelCare, to Lucy and Grace (the 24hr nurse) that are my personal Angels.

Angel Care provided very compassionate care the last 30 days of my wife's life. There was a team of care givers that consistently performed with her best in mind. It was clear that each person was doing what they did not merely because they were doing a job but because they have a passion for providing care with a paaion for the dignity and comfort of both the patient and the family. Especially meaningful to me was that the team leader Rodney was a man of his word. More than once he stated that if we had a need he was available 24/7. He was 100% of the time. With much gratitude I say THANK YOU. David Greenberg

My dad was a Veteran and I was introduced to Angel Care Hospice through the LBVA Hospital. My dad only received services for about a week but Rodney, RN and his team of nurses Yadira and Cindy supported my dad's wishes to pass at home. They provided excellent care , ensuring in his finals days he was comfortable and able to spend time with his loved ones. Thank you Angel Care for your support and care of me and family as well. 😇

The team at Angel Care Hospice has been a godsend for my mom who has late stage Alzheimer's and requires 24/7 care. They are so kind and caring. The in-home medical care she is receiving, for anything from UTI's to constipation, to medication evaluation, is second to none. Ailments that would have required a trip to urgent care or waiting weeks to see her former doctor, are addressed within hours. Medication, equipment, and supplies arrive at her door. She is seen and assessed by someone from Angel Care multiple times a week; whether it's Lorena who comes to bathe her twice a week (an extremely difficult task at times, as my mom can get cranky) Lusine, the LVN who comes every week to monitor her health and well-being, or Rodney, her RN/Superhero who comes to the rescue any time, day or night responding immediately to anything from medical emergencies to requests for more supplies or medication. It's an incredible relief for me and my whole family to know that medical professionals are making sure my mother is well cared for during this stage of her life and illness. The stress had been crushing, and Angel Care Hospice has not only taken a tremendous weight off my shoulders, they are a great asset to her team of non-medical caregivers as well. I'm so grateful for everything they are doing for us. If you have a loved one with late stage Alzheimer's and need help managing it all, I encourage you to call them. I can't recommend them enough!

The Angel Care team was so compassionate, caring and attentive with my mother in her final days. Alicia and Mirna were our two primary caregivers / nurses and they were phenomenal. Rodney was very engaged and attentive during our changing needs. Going through hospice is impossible, but Angel Care made it easier.

The whole team who worked with my mother was great! They are very caring, considering and helpful. They always do their best to work with us. Anytime you call, the answer was always positive. Any situation came up, RN Rodney always fixed it right away for us. Thanks to the whole team (RN Rodney, Wound Dr. Hung & Doctors, Podiatrists, LVN… care givers and the person Niraj who introduced Angel care to us.) I appreciate all your support and help!!!

I have nothing to say, but I was very overwhelmed with the care that we received. From the initial call with Blanca and then next with Rodney. The care team was excellent we had. Grace and Rosalynn a lot happens when you first come home there are so many questions everything was explained wonderfully. It’s not something that anyone really wants to go through and the services are so wonderful. I highly recommend Angel care and thank you for taking care of our loved one

Angel Care Hospice provided one of the best services around. Not only physically but spiritually being there every step of the way. They provided extremely good care for my mother for the past 3 years and even more so on her way out from this life. They helped her have a peaceful and painless transition and there are no words to describe my gratitude. I highly encourage all people to use this company for their loved ones. They provide excellent help for everything and especially during the transition from this life to the next comes! Thank you all again, from the bottom of my heart!

The level of compassion, care, professionalism and attentiveness can only be summarized in two words: Angel Care. I saw this first hand as my mother was not doing well and her health was declining fast due to a car accident. We got referred to Angel Care by an attending Dr at the hospital. We did our research and got to speak with Shea. She was very informative and SHE listened!! not like other places we called. Thanks to Angel care, mom was able to get better, we have her back home now and we couldn't be happier! Before this experience I had no idea how hospice works and the amount of coordination it takes…Angel Care definitely have their stuff together.
